My first computer was an ZX Spectrum with an amazing 48k and a rubber keyboard. Go and have a look at The World of Spectrum website and Planet Sinclair.
I have a pretty wide range of software including, Visual Studio (includes Visual
C, Visual Basic, Visual J++ etc...), Office (includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access),
Paint Shop Pro, PhotoShop, FrontPage, and lots of other fiddly little utilities
that a far to numerous to list here! Although a couple are worth mentioning as they
are so useful. GetRight allows you to download
things from websites and stop and re-start the download as and when you want (good
if you get disconnected regularly). Email remove is useful for - yeah you guessed
it removes emails. I use it to quickly check my home email account. This lets me
delete any spam and deal with any personal messages that need dealing with ASAP.
For the terminally nosey I use
FireBird for web browsing.
For email I use a program called The Bat.
